Gordon Morrow Construction!Home Improvement Contractor in Seattle, WACall (206) 605-1645If you've come to my website, you're probably considering making some improvements to your home to add enjoyment, comfort and value. That's great, because the end results can be wonderful!
But let's be honest, remodeling an occupied home is tough! While living with the noise, dust and commotion it's little wonder that people experience remodeling as stressful, disruptive, messy and time-consuming—not to mention expensive! With this in mind, my goal with this website is to educate the viewer about the remodeling process and to demonstrate what I do and how I do it. I hope that we will choose to work together on some future projects! Why Hire a Licensed Contractor? Many people hesitate to make home improvements because they are worried about being ripped off by unscrupulous contractors. Knowledge is power — so I am including information about the etiquette of dealing with contractors and how the home owner is protected when a contractor is licensed and has a well written contract in hand. More InformationYou can also research my education and experience and read some customer testimonials. An old carpenter once told me, “Your work speaks for itself.” So I have included a section with photos of my work. In my years in the business, many problems arise because of inadequate communication: the contractor bid the job to do X but the customer thinks he has contracted for X + Y + Z. A detailed, thorough contract is vital to avoiding this problem. Another problem can be unrealistic expectations of how long it really takes to get things done — remodeling is a surprisingly complex task often requiring the work of many different tradesmen, each of whom is trying to make a living. My website is undergoing a remodel, so please visit again soon for photos of recent projects. ContactIf you have questions or are interested in scheduling a
