Gordon Morrow, Vital Information

My Name is Gordon Morrow and I grew up in Ashland, Wisconsin, a small town in the far north of the state. I am a product of a small Midwest town with long cold winters and hordes of hungry mosquitoes the rest of the year.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1980 with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. My first six years out of college were spent at Boeing as a manufacturing and design engineer. I left to pursue a gnawing interest in construction and remodeling and after several years as an apprentice remodeling carpenter I started my own company, Gordon Morrow Construction.

Today I am a “one man show” working out of a home office in the Wedgwood neighborhood of Seattle. I have learned many skills over the years, but am focused primarily on painting, drywall and finish carpentry — skills which tend to flow together well. One man is not an island, so at times I hire qualified help and skilled subcontractors from a long list of names I have accumulated.

I am an active member at a local church and I enjoy bicycling, reading and computers.
